This Privacy Policy describes how Tennis Score Tracker (“the App”) handles user information. The App is designed with privacy as a fundamental principle: we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

2. Information Collection and Use

2.1 Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect or transmit:

Personal identification information
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Location data
Usage analytics or crash reports
Any data to external servers or third parties

2.2 Local Data Storage

The following data is stored locally on your Apple Watch only:

Current match scores and game state
Session history (current session only)

This data:

Remains exclusively on your device
Is not synchronized to iCloud or any cloud service
Is permanently deleted upon app removal

3. HealthKit Integration

3.1 Data Access

The App may request access to the following HealthKit data:

Step Count (read-only): To display steps during matches
Active Energy Burned (read-only): To display calories during matches
Workout Data (write-only): To save tennis workouts to Health app

3.2 Data Usage

HealthKit data is:

Accessed only during active match sessions
Displayed in real-time within the App
Never stored beyond the current session
Never transmitted outside the device

3.3 User Control

Users may grant or revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through iOS Settings. The App remains functional without HealthKit access, though fitness features will be unavailable.

4. Motion & Fitness Access

The App requests Motion & Fitness permission to access pedometer data for step counting. This data is processed in real-time and is not retained after the session ends.

5. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party services, including but not limited to:

Analytics platforms
Advertising networks
Cloud storage providers
External APIs or web services

6. Data Security

As the App does not collect or transmit user data, there is no risk of data breach through our services. All data remains under the security provisions of the user’s device.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is rated 4+ and does not collect personal information from users of any age. The App complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations.

8. International Users

The App stores all data locally on the user’s device and does not transfer data across international borders.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Effective Date” at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
